Clooncahir Lodge B&B
Clooncahir Lodge Bed & Breakfast, is located across from Lough Rynn lake just down the road from Lough Rynn Castle. Opened its doors in 2024.
Dara previously owned Brooklawn House B&B and opened its doors to guests in 2008. The 200 year old Georgian listed house is full of history. Linked back to the 1800s and to the Clements family Earls of Leitrim, Brooklawn House served as the home for the stewards and estate managers of Lough Rynn Estate for two centuries.
All rooms host comfortable beds, floral linens and wonderful views overlooking either Lough Rynn lake or the walled gardens. Homebaked goods on arrivals and breakfast each morning. Avail of the wonderful walks, go for a cycle, try your hand at fishing, or simply enjoy reading your book in the garden; there is something for everyone at Brooklawn House.
What to expect from your stay.
Starting the day right.
Breakfast, the most important meal of the day as they say. Help yourself to the continental breakfast including yogurts, granola, fresh fruit salad. All dietary requirements are catered for, just let us know in advance.
Relaxing in comfort.
Imagine lazy mornings, nestled amongst the sheets and comfy pillows and listening to the chorus of birdsong. That is exactly what you can expect at Clooncahir Lodge B&B; all the home comforts, mixed with the luxury of staying somewhere else. The ultimate tranquility retreat.
Wild Swimming.
Take a dip in the beautiful Lough Rynn lake, only a stone’s throw away. Reap all the physical and mental benefits that come along with a quick dip into the invigorating Irish waters! What a way to start the day!
Disconnecting.
We encourage our guests to try disconnect and forget about their normal stresses. Leave down your laptop or phone, pick up a book and breathe in the fresh air. Of course, WiFi is available if and when you need it, albeit at Leitrim speeds.
Bike rides.
Take a leisurely cycle and explore the grounds of Lough Rynn and the surrounding areas. Take off on the open road, explore the country side and forget your worries.
Walking and hiking.
Pull on your walking boots and head out to blow away the cobwebs right on the doorstep of Clooncahir Lodge. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Lough Rynn’s 300 acre estate & see nature at its best in the walled gardens. Bring a picnic, or stop into Lough Rynn Castle for Afternoon Tea.
